IT might only be February but Helensburgh Tennis Club is already looking at preparing for the popular Easter camps over the first two weeks of April.
Information will be sent out to all members in the week commencing February 20 - and to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for the junior players some help is required.
Can you spare some time between 10.30am and 1pm over the fortnight to assist in the kitchen to prepare and serve snacks? Someone is also required to assist Alison Reid who purchases and collects all the food.
THE winner of the first Helensburgh Tennis Club Lottery draw for 2012 is Alastair Black, who will shortly receive a cheque for £20 from lottery organiser Gay Black — his proud mum! She will also still be delighted in the next few days to hear from any late entrants.
HELENSBURGH Tennis Club's Gordon Reid gained his first title on the 2012 NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour yesterday (Wednesday) when the British no.1 teamed up with fellow Brit Marc McCarroll to win the men's doubles at the Melbourne Open.
Gordon also beat his first world top 10 opponent of the new season on route to reaching the men's singles semi-final.
